Shermae Monces was born and raised in Oahu, Hawaii. She recently moved to Auburn and started at Auburn Riverside High School as a freshman. Her favorite subject is math. Shermae enjoys playing flag football and volleyball with her sister and cousins. During her free time, she likes to draw and listen to music. Shermae hopes to go to college and become a nail technician or do real estate. Her favorite music artists are Maoli, Drake and YoungBoy. Her favorite food is chicken from Wingstop and homemade chicken adobo that her dad makes. She joined the newspaper because she wanted to learn how to write more. Shermae is a big family girl and she loves hanging out with friends and family. She also enjoys listening to music while she walks outside. Shermae also loves shopping and getting new clothes, accessories, and beauty products.
